Number 5!

Jen (the beauty in the middle) is ready to give birth to her FIFTH child. That's right, she's superwoman! We had a surprise shower for her, over dinner earlier this week, and literally showered her with a year's worth of diapers, wipes and other baby essentials. It was so much fun! Jen is an incredible friend who has drastically impacted my life for the better. I love you, Jen. You're amazing!

Oh and for the record, between the 9 women shown/listed above, we have 29 kids. That's just crazy! No wonder we were so excited about a night out by ourselves.

Five-and-a-Half

Nomi has been talking about her half birthday for months - how to celebrate, what to do. She's been excitedly saying 5 with a 1/2 next to it just to practice. Luckily, we had plans with one of Nom's best friends from school which just happened to fall on the right day. So we celebrated with breakfast at McDonald's followed by a full day of dress-up and dance performances. Samantha even brought over cupcakes and a birthday balloon and we sang half of "Happy Birthday." If only we all could be that excited to add half a year to our age.

Goodbye Snow!

First day outside in months. We needed it!

I know I've put in a plug for this place before but I really can't say enough. Highfield Discovery Garden is a relatively undiscovered gem in Cincinnati. If you haven't been before, please go check it out. Oh, and make sure to go to one of the daily programs. This week is all about maple sugaring and you get to try samples. Enough said.
