Still waiting for this little girl to arrive and having lots of fun family time in the process. Enjoyed perfect weather over the weekend, carved pumpkins and roasted marshmallows in our first campfire of the season last night. Gotta love fall!

Imminent

38.5 weeks

Life has been chaotic over the past few weeks with a basement renovation (more on that soon) and other miscellaneous projects that have made it hard for us to focus on the fact that we will have a new baby in the house very soon. And actually, it's probably better that we haven't had time to devote to waiting. But now I want to try to sit back and fully enjoy the last of her internal squirms and boisterous personality before she makes her grand entrance. Stay tuned!

Field Trip

Naomi is about a month in to school now and enjoying every minute. We experienced our first field trip to Shaw Farms today and had a great time. Here's proof.

Showered with Love

I had a baby shower this weekend. You might think it strange for a third child, who happens to be another girl, but these amazing friends (pictured above) wanted to make sure I felt loved and this baby celebrated. Mission accomplished! It was wonderful. And, even though we have almost everything we need for this little girl, I was showered with gifts that blew me away - handmade blankets, swaddle blankets, an awesome sling, books, diapers and wipes (you can never have too many) and a few new (and unstained) outfits for baby. Thank you, dear friends!
