For the Cure

My friend Jen and I ran in a race on Sunday morning. This is something Jen has wanted to do for a few years now... and, she did it. I'm so proud of her! It was a great morning and for a great cause. Check out this link for a race near you.

Julie!

At a cookout this evening we discovered (through talking to some old timers who've lived in the neighborhood for 40+ years) that Julie Hagerty used to live in our house. You might not recognize that name, but you should definitely remember her as Elaine Dickinson, the stewardess and female lead from one of the funniest movies ever made, Airplane! (Actually, according to the American Film Institute, it's the 10th funniest movie ever made.) It's certainly always been one of my favorite comedies, and now we can say that "Elaine" lived here!
