Preparation

Some of you may not know this about me, but I tend to be a bit compulsive when it comes to oral hygiene - like the need to floss daily. I guess Naomi is taking after me as she gets very excited about dental floss and new toothpaste. She has her first dental appointment next week. We've been reading books about the dentist and she came with me this week to watch at my appointment. She's most excited about getting cool stickers and a new toothbrush afterwards.

Movie Night

We needed a bit of a diversion and something to get excited about on Friday, so I declared it, "Movie Night." The girls helped get out blankets and pillows, put on their jammies, pop popcorn and then snuggled in for a night at the movies...in our family room. Perfect!

My New Favorite Show

Flight of the Conchords chronicles the adventures of "New Zealand's 4th Most Popular Folk Parody Duo." And it's hilarious. It's a sign of the times that I haven't even seen it on TV (we don't get HBO). But do yourself a favor and download the two free episodes on iTunes and watch the rest (as well as other random performance bits) on YouTube.

Last Friday

We're a bit behind but thought everyone might like to see the progression from bad to worse as our entire side yard was torn up to replace the sewer line from our house to the street last Friday. It was fun to watch but painful to our pockets. Ugh!
