Apple Juice Party

Naomi, Dora & Boots and I had an apple juice party today. Naomi set the table with her little cups and plates and I filled them with apple juice and our favorite Sweet, Savory & Tart Trek Mix from Trader Joes. We added marshmallows this time and made trex mix skewers on toothpicks.

First "Real" Haircut

We took Naomi to see our friend, Sam for her first "real" haircut this weekend. We're talking a fancy salon in Hyde Park and an actual style with a few long layers. And the best part - it was only $10! Thank you, Sam! The first words out of Nomi's mouth on Saturday morning were, "I'm going to get my haircut!" She was so excited! But as you can see from the pictures, she was none too excited when we actually arrived. It took her a few minutes to warm up and then was absolutely thrilled to show off her "new" hair for the rest of the day. Selah's favorite part - breakfast!

Digging Out

We had over half of a foot of snow fall in a matter of hours late yesterday afternoon. That doesn't sound like much to some of you but it was debilitating to this city - even with the advanced notice and accurate weather predictions. It made for treacherous roads, early closings and a quiet night at home. Naomi and I had fun digging out the driveway this morning.

Ask Your Doctor...

Another gem from my friend Neil. This is a parody ad we used for a Super Bowl bash we do each year at work.
