2!

Happy birthday, Naomi! We love you! Two wonderful years have gone by so quickly. This seems like yesterday.

We'll post media from the birthday extravaganza soon...

Catch Up

Lots of things happening around here these days and very little time to report. Here's my attempt to get you up to speed.

* Nomi continues to use the potty and is expanding her vocabulary by sentences daily. We caught her skipping the other day which was pretty cool, too. She loves the park, her pool, playing with friends and taking care of her baby sister. And she turns TWO next week which is incredibly hard to believe.

* Selah is growing by leaps and bounds. She really enjoys her cereal and is adding various foods to her repertoire - today it was sweet potatoes. Thankfully sleeping is getting better too. She loves being held and chewing on anything she can get in her mouth.

Here are a few pictures of Naomi's friends playing in our backyard. Isn't chalk the best?!

The Variety Show

Naomi discussing a variety of topics: her ABCs, animals she saw at the library, and what she did, intends to do, and the expected reward for going on the potty.

What Did She Say?

She's talking about her fork. Really.

Dax!

Tonight we got to meet Dax, Tony's new Chesapeake Bay Retriever puppy! Naomi was excited to see him, although she was very tentative as he tried to play with her. She enjoyed throwing his tennis ball. Here are some Dax photos - we lucked into having exclusive rights to the TC/ Life in Pixels crossover event of the year!

4 Months

Selah is four months old and each day is passing by even faster this time around. We tried giving her cereal for the first time - she couldn't get it down fast enough. I thought it might help the sleeping issue but still no progress there. Ugh! Dark, puffy eyes are a permanent fixture for me these days. I know it will get better at some point... right?

Sisters

How about these pictures? Do you see any resemblance? The only difference is Naomi is pictured at seven months and Selah at four.

iDead

1. Denial: "There can't be anything wrong with my iPod! It doesn't have a scratch on it, and I've never so much as breathed on it wrong!"
2. Anger: "Are you kidding me? This $@#& thing is only two years old!"
3. Bargaining: "Okay, maybe if I just restore the disk to factory settings...no? Then let's just erase the drive in Disk Utility? Error writing to drive?! NO!!!"
4. Depression: "Why do I even waste my hard-earned money on this crap? It all just breaks or rusts, eventually."
5. Acceptance: (I'll let you know when I'm there.)

So long, dear friend. You were taken from us far too soon.
