New Room

We (mostly Matt) painted the new room for our girls this weekend. Naomi loves it and is enjoying the extra space to spread out toys and find new places to hide. We are trying to get her used to the idea of a baby sister but so far it doesn't seem to be sticking. Pictures coming soon...

Mealtime Attire

The next time you come to our house for dinner please be sure to wear your beef stew! We'll let you use our shower for free.

Stuff

Seems we're having an entry drought these days. Here's the latest in our world:

* Naomi is getting cuter, funnier and a lot more independent by the minute. She's perfecting her puppy dog eyes and knows to give daddy lots of hugs and kisses when she's in trouble. Smart girl!

* Matt and I were able to get away this past weekend and enjoy a few days on our own. We opted to stay in Columbus and sleep, dine out, see a movie, browse and even get a coffee at 9pm if we wanted to instead of site seeing in a big city. We needed the rest and relaxation. It was wonderful!

* What's 10? The approximate number of weeks we've got left until baby #2 arrives. Oh my! Time to get ready.

Catching Up

The past few weeks have been a whirlwind of fun with family and friends. We took Naomi and my grandma to the Festival of Lights at the Cincinnati Zoo on a more temperate winter evening just before Christmas. Unfortunately, everyone else in the tri-state area had the same great idea. The lights were nice but the crowd was more than we could handle.

We enjoyed a leisurely Christmas morning with a pancake breakfast and time together as a family of three. Nomi's favorite gift at our house was Matt's bottle of Chimay. Uh-oh! We also captured her with some of her other favorites after celebrating with the Rambos and the Chandlers...

And just for fun here are a few pictures of Naomi out for a walk in her new wagon and no, she's not bleeding but she did find my lipstick before I caught her.
