Bruxelles

I just returned from a week in Brussels (and a day in Geneva). This was a business trip, and the week was a little too much business and not enough pleasure. Nevertheless, I did manage to get out for a few walks around the area of the city where I stayed.

That last picture should look very familiar to anyone who's spent a semester or more in Luxembourg.

Day to Day

Naomi and I have so much fun together - each new day is better than the one before. This week Nomi, as her friends call her, has learned to help with laundry, brush her teeth AND the biggest accomplishment is the discovery of her walking legs. Look out world! I thought the "viewers" would appreciate a little glimpse...

We've also had some visitors this week who she has thoroughly enjoyed.

Happy Mother's Day!

Calley is a new mom, but she's already a great one. It's like she's been doing this for longer than eight months. Naomi and I are very lucky.

Cal's Mother's Day request was to go back to the zoo together this morning. Naomi appeared to be a little more interested in some of the animals than the last time we visited. The gorilla in the lower left corner of the ape picture below was in the process of throwing dirt all over us.
